well got around to do sydney. as you can see, 20 new 300ft/90m+ skyscrapers are to be added by 2006.
melbourne had 40 in same time. amazing.
but melbs is slowing abit but as you can see Sydney's is still going strong with our best year coming next year2006 with 6 new 90m+ scrapers. our worst year was 2001 with 0.
but as ive said before Sydney hads its massive boom in late 1990's due to getting ready for Olympics.I dont think Gov would of liked a skyline full of cranes in 2000. so it was nearly all complete. for your interest 17x 90m+ scrapers were built in 1998-99 period!!!!
also intrest8ing that melb has 8 scrapers over 500ft/150m from 2000-2006 while Sydney has 11 added.

for your intrest perth has had just 1 sole 90m+ scraper in time 2000-2006 which was Woodside in 2003.Hopefully Seidlers twins will start soon but earliest first tower will be completed is 2007.even darwin will have one added (99m Evolution 2006).
Brisbane with 13 (2000-2006)
GC with 23 (2000-2006)
Adelaide 0 (new City central tower will fall 6m short of 90m in 2006).
cheers

muse, thats 20 OVER 90m/300ft!! obviously there were many more between 40m-90m. but 90m is a big bldg so thats why i use that as a cut off point.lol
anyway heres sunny brisbane.
ive gone firtehr then 2006 due to many impending projects. i shoudl really do same for other cities but it gest hard kind pure speculation with some projects.

Yeah, a bit poor.. but I suppose we've got some good quality stuff in there (mostly).. anyway, development in Sydney's CBD will never stop, it'll slow burn, but never come to a complete stop. Nice work Cul!

^ yeah its funny , you can virtually recoginze each project even by the block colour shape i used.lol so i quess each Sydney project has been a quailty dev.
