I like the design of this mall, very sleek lookin.

Looking good... quite a few malls are coming up on the Riyadh Ring Road.

This is not the only mall u/c on the ring road as huit said. There's also Ethar (not Ethraa) mall next to it. And behind the new IKEA, another big mall called Rimal is u/c. On exit 17, there's also the expansion of Othaim mall. Oh and I almost forgot Garnada mall which will open in the coming few months.
Euromarchi (sp) is almost finished on the North ring highway. And I think I saw a Geant hypermarket u/c on the south ring. So, yes, lots of mall construction is going on on the righ road..

Geant hypermarket opened like 10 months back OR are they building a new one?? Then there's Khurais Plaza (also completed - right next to Geant). Then there's Hyper Panda near Dallah hospital and another one being constructed somewhere near the new IKEA. Carrefour also opened like 5 months back but it isn't on Ring road.
Personally, I'd like to see some more towers like Faisalia and Kingdom Towers.

There are two Geant and two carrefur under costruction other than the ones opened lately on Khurais road. One Carrefour is in Olaya district and the other is near Garanda mall. And one Geant is on the south ring road and the other is on Takhasosi st. There's also another hypermarket u/c as part of Nakheel mall on King AbdulAziz street. The new Hyper Panada is part of Rimal mall which is right behind the new IKEA.

how many malls does riyadh have now, when i was there last time in 2003, i counted atleast 25 malls.

There are at least 10 under construction today..
