Perth used to be called 'city of light' during the early days of the first nasa manned orbital missions. I think these days a lot of the locals call it 'dullsville!' Seems to be going through a servere conservative period. The thing about world's most liveable city titles is that there are so many of them from so many organisations. They do mean something, the cities that get these titles are likely to be near the top of the bunch. I wouldn't go preaching about them though, makes you sound like you're trying hard to prove something.
