With the PGA Tour coming to Metro New Orleans next weekend, I started snooping around and checking out golf courses in my area. What are the top five in your area? I'll rate, what I think, are the top five courses in Metro New Orleans.

This is only my opinion, so opinions may differ. I'm intriqued by golf and enjoy the game and its' strategy.

Is New Orleans really the only city that puts a focus on golf for residents? I would think that other cities would have nice golf courses. It's such a significant sign of urban prominence, IMO.

Maybe no one like to Golf or over look golf courses

I'm not a golfer, but I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that Charlotte's Quail Hollow is the finest course in the city. The Wachovia Championship is being played there right now.
