На југу Републике Српске, у ниској Херцеговини или, како се још назива овај простор, у херцеговачким Хуминама, са обе стране ријеке Требишњице, у подножју кречњачког и огољелих Леотара налази се Требиње градско насеље јединствених културних, урбаних и привредних одлика са око 40.000 становника. Овај град има развијене бројне услужне функције: здравствене, културне, образовне, спортске, као и привредни потенцијале. Привредни развој самог града, обустављен током минулог рата (1992 - 1995), се великом брзином успјешно почиње враћати на мјесто водеће улоге у источној Херцеговини, а и шире. Пољопривредни рејон је веома развијен, нарочито културе дувана, виноградарства и житарства.

- Trebinje is located in Herzegovina, below Leotar mountain.
- It has ~40.000 population.
- City is center of Old Herzegovina, and we all hope that in future it will become even more developed, since it's development was stopped in bosnian civil war.

Само да подсјетим за оне који не знају да је рачун општине Требиње деблокиран и општина опет функционише нормално. И да, хвала Богу, на власт је дошла Социјалдемократска странка која је на власти у двије најразвијеније општине: Бањој Луци и Лакташима. Успјели су, ето, деблокирати рачун и ако Бог да почети да сређују ствари у овој, по мени, најљепшој општини Српске.

Trebinje is a very beautfil city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I was alittle suprised seeing the population, since I believed it was MUCH smaller. :) The city seems to have some great potential, and I can't wait to see more more projects come to the city.
