do you guys know what Lindeteves means?
I don't know, but I think that area has been called Lindeteves since colonial times (probably a dutch phrase), and thus "Lindeteves Trade Center". Anyone confirm?

I'm unsure if this is related, but in Surabaya there is an old building (now called Gedung Bank Niaga) which was owned by a Dutch trading company called Lindeteves Stokvis during colonial times. Well, perhaps the name has some connection with the location in Jakarta.
