Abu Dhabi private sector to spend a billion dirhams on new Complex Abu Dhabi, Apr. 29, 2005 (WAM) -- Abu Dhabi has taken another economic and tourism step forward with the launching of the Al Hashimi Complex, a multi-purpose project, to be built on an area of about 162,000 square meters at a total cost of over one billion dirhams.

This major national project is part of Abu Dhabi's new approach aimed at judiciously using the national resources to consolidate the emirate's enviable economic, tourism and developmental position.

One of the most significant aspects of the new project is its unique location.

With its serene and charming seafront view and strategic location in the city centre, the multi-purpose project consists of four towers of 25-storey buildings which shall add to the list of Abu Dhabi's five-star hotels, in addition to two other towers of hotel apartments and a shopping complex that would house various international trade marks.

The architectural design of the complex made provision for enough car parking spaces with the capacity to cater for 800 cars at a time.

Abu Dhabi-based 4D Surbana Middle East, an architectural engineering company known for its great experience and international reputation, has been charged with supervising the architectural engineering work of the complex. Negotiations are ongoing with a number of reputable international hotel operators, to manage the hotel and hotel apartments upon completion.

Al Hashimi Complex represents another new incentive of boosting Abu Dhabi's tourism industry, in particular and its economic activities in general. This is in addition to boosting the emirate's real estate and construction sector, which has been playing a vital role in the national economy.

"The architectural design of the complex made provision for enough car parking spaces with the capacity to cater for 800 cars at a time."

Of course at a time! What a stupid try to fantasize the attempt of having few parking spaces for a project this big.

It's very stupid that they don't say WHERE in Abu Dhabi this ambitious project is going to be located in.
