The Daleks make a return to Dr Who later today for the first time in years.

This thread is to pay homage to the Doctor's mortal enemy in all it's sdifferent shapes and forms over the years. :)

What project is that??

That's the Potters Fields (http://www.skyscrapernews.com/buildings.php?id=1614) scheme by Berkeley Homes. They were rejected by Southwark Council after furious opposition from local residents (and rightly so - I think the location for these is diabolical). Apparently, they've gone to a PI which will be decided by John Prescott within the next few months.

I dont think we will be seeing much more of the Daleks, they basicly just killed them off.

the series has been consistently average, but this evening's episode verged on good, with the doctor showing a range of emotion beyond just zany/amused.

and that dalek looked fantastic! they probably spent half the production budget (for the entire series) on the model alone - marvellous.

I read in the Radio Times a few weeks ago that they might be returning for the season finale - I think ;)

Spoke to a mate how they couldn't come back earlier, and he says they haven't written it off yet, so they might make a come back in the next series.

I only saw bits because I was busy, but from what I saw it looked crap.

I nearly pissed myself when the dalek said "ELEVATE" before it floated really slowly up the stairs like a balloon.

"woo scary"

Nearly shed a tear yesterday at that!

I thought that was a really good episode - the whole series has had a 'childrens television' feel to it, but its beenconsistently decent i thought, with yesterdays a real cracker, its been wanting to be done for ages the whole - dalek feeling emotion - story, all he wanted was to feel the sunlight!!! uh-oh, i think i'm going again

PS. Chris ecclestone is brilliant, David Tennant will be 2x as good.

I only managed to catch the first episode. I've been missed the rest due to being out the country. Are the BBC planning to repeat it at any stage on 2 or 3?.......it gets its first airing out here in Aus just as I leave for the UK...typical.
Oh yeah, honest opinions on how good the new doctor Who is.

After shooting it for half an hour, you'd think they'd have got a tank in or something. Or just pushed the fucker over.

blunther, you know nothing he had a force field and any human or life form that touches it gets burnt alive. Imbecile! *pushes glasses up nose*

Get a big stick and push it over then.

Or just stand behind it, or walk away since they only move at 1mph.

The Daleks are so lame.........
