Dalian (Simplified Chinese: 大连; Traditional Chinese: 大連; pinyin: Dàlián; Japanese: Dairen; Russian: Далянь, Dalian or Дальний, Dalny) is the governing sub-provincial city in the eastern Liaoning Province of Northeast China. Dalian is China's northernmost ice-free seaport and China's most suitable city for living.

Nice talls, nice looking buildings and setting. Buildings seem a bit too far spaced, although I am sure backfilling will fix that over time.

Be_Happy February 25th, 2005, 12:36 AM 7/10. That's quite a nice skyline. Some of the older buildings look very European. The scrapers are very modern and cool looking too. I think this city is twinned with Glasgow too :).

Kiss the Rain June 3rd, 2006, 11:52 AM Dalian is the pride of liaoning province, its very unlike your typical chinese inland city with sea of gray residential buildings and very polluted air, dalian is quite the opposite, the air quality is excellent and very beautiful buildings. The city is very well planned out when europeans settled there, you can even find trams! Dalian and qingdao are the prove its not just the southern coast of china thats weathy and clean, the north is catching up!

Harregarre July 7th, 2011, 04:49 AM Looks like your run-off-the-mill Chinese city, except I kinda like the location with the mountains in the back as well. Still not enough to be special. I've seen almost exact copies of a lot of these buildings in other cities. 6/10
