Israeli beaches are like Rio, Acapulco or anywhere else.
there are special gay beaches, even some nudity beaches (not completely outlawed).
also religous beaches segregated for men/woman only (open also to seculars that want to swim apart)
most beaches are open to everybody. check if you can really swim or its more dipping in the waves. In some beaches its more liek a pool and you can swim very far into the sea.
Usually there are lots of campaigns to clean the beaches but check with people who will tell you which are the best and what days and hours to go in each city, also the sun can burn easily so dont go between 10am and 3pm
swimming season is june to october, but the sea is warm enough to swim
sometimes even from april-may to november (depending on the winter)
water can reach really warm, but we dont have hurricanes, sharks etc just
a few waves of stingy jelly-fish.
if youre lucky (very) sometimes you can see dolphins.

I like dor and habonim beacehs near ceazaria.

palmahim(rehovot) and sironit(netanya) are one of the best in Israel...

it's not nude beach..no nude beach in Tel Aviv(Tel Aviv has gay beach girls there are nude)
nude beaches are in Gaash(Hertzliyya)south Netanya and in Atlit beach(Haifa)
but u can free be topless in the beach of Tel Aviv....

in municipal beaches at acity center (mainly in Tel Aviv and Eilat ) is common to see topless women.
at beaches outside the cities , you are free to do what you want ,in some spots every one is naked ,somtimes people engage with sex...

i see many couples fuc*** in the beach (outside of the center of course)

it's like in my country. austria is supposed to be conservative. but for example, it is completely normal to be topless on the beach. i guess people have a more "normal" relation to their bodies (like in israel, brasil, etc...) and are more natural, then in some other counties. we dont have that much of a "double moral", like usa.

No but I was there for a month in November and part of December. I bought an apartment in Bat Yam 300 meters from the sea at Mitzpie HaYamim.

My daughter lives there now and maybe one day I'll be there for longer periods of time. I took lots of pictures of the Bat Yam beach and will post more of them.

The whole area of Bat Yam south is beautiful and it's a shame that the current economic situation will slow down the development.
