neat looking building, and its also pretty tall...

The first picture is just ok, but it goes pear-shaped when you look at the back.

Also the use of those large windows make it look shorter.

Interesing geometry happening at the top, but the mid-section looses interest very quickly with not much happening apart from great heights.

The last black and white shot brings out its attributes, as black and white photography often does. But alas, life is in technicolour.....

6.5/10 - This one is a bit strange; it almost looks like 2 different buildings, depending on which side you're looking at.
The "front", where you can see the roof to best advantage, isn't too bad - the facade catches the light, and the very vertical windows and contrasting mullions help the height; the indentations and the contrasting sections of facade give it interest. And that roof is pretty sharp - much better than a flat box! I'd give the front an 8.

But that back! - it looks like the master architect got tired, went home, and had his bumgling assistant design it - it's clunky, with nothing but row on row of bland little windows (even the glass strips in the center don't help). It just doesn't blend with the front at all, and I'd give it about a 4 or 4.5..

i really dont dig on this one. . . . the top does spoil it. . . 5/10

I like this building quite a bit, but I still hope that they don't build its twin. For some reason, that would just ruin it for me.

This tower has nice balance to it, and some interesting details. I like the stylized "flying buttress" look on the top.

the front's cool, but the back's lame-o. they should build its twin and replicate the facade on the front of the building on the back side too...then it can deserve a 10

This building's awesome. I especially like the front facade and the top. I'm not so sure of the back, though. Still, it deserves a ten for its uniqueness.

I don't like the proportions, the silly comb-like top, or the facade. 6/10

wow, this one is really neat in persons. i love how kohn desided to give this tower some "flare", kohn is usually good at doing these things and has designed some of the most unique buildings in the world today.

I know some people are complaining about the back, i think that the back just adds to the side view:

also, its kinda cool when you are walking around and you see the back at first and you think its just an ugly box with a weird top and then you walk around it BAM!

Looks great from just about any angle. Doesn't seem to belong in Chicago though, so I give it an 8.5/10.

White doesn't suit this one too well.
Possibly it would look better with more reflective glass, or at least blind glass.
The crown is just strange, and the entrance really cheap.
