SteelCity32 January 16th, 2003, 10:36 PM why did you make 2 of the same poll?
anyways, 7/10
medevil_kenivel January 16th, 2003, 10:58 PM i forgot the poll in the last one
X-seed 4000 January 17th, 2003, 02:40 AM The skyline isn't really bad compared to its population. 6.5/10
Pablo January 18th, 2003, 07:37 AM 4/10 not a very nice skyline;)
DrumCorpsAlum February 23rd, 2003, 06:23 AM 6.5/10. It's a bit spread out.
ganjavih February 23rd, 2003, 07:06 PM London's a great city but it doesn't have much of a skyline.
5/10
arnold February 24th, 2003, 07:18 AM yeah, there's not much there compared to some other cities, but what's there is pretty good.
there are some especially good views of the city as you approach from windsor by train. views where the buildings are compressed into a denser cluster and the forests and river valley really make it seem like a nice, lush place to live. kind of like a 'forest city'.
6/10.
Oaronuviss February 24th, 2003, 10:55 PM Woo hoo! My city's sister city! :D
I don't like the skyline, however, it has pretty fair height for a city of that size. Better than my city, and for that I must give it a 7.
London™ March 14th, 2003, 11:39 PM I think I'm too biased myself... the only reason I gave this skyline 9/10 is because I live in London :D
Wu-Gambino March 15th, 2003, 01:18 AM Decent 5.
ganjavih March 15th, 2003, 06:15 AM 9/10? Yeah, you are biased!
BTW, I used to live in London... great city! Hope to go back some day.

Labrador September 2nd, 2003, 05:19 PM 6/10
It looks an excellent skyline for the size of the city, but it's fairly spread out. Looks well-wooded, but I suppose that doesn't count much as the skyline. ;)
:)
renell September 2nd, 2003, 06:55 PM 6.5/10 not bad for it's population. small in terms of height but numerous scrapers.. :)
RafflesCity September 2nd, 2003, 07:21 PM dense n boxy
6.5
SoboleuS September 3rd, 2003, 02:17 AM What a surprise :D Another London ;) I prefer the British one, but this one looks quite cool

ParraMan January 15th, 2004, 05:25 AM 7
Looking good for a rather small city. I like the tall dark one there. The city needs to build up some more density to get more points.
SeeMacau January 16th, 2004, 06:49 AM The skyline is not bad compare to the size of the population
7.5/10

6.5/10
Jaybird November 5th, 2004, 04:11 AM I love the collection of buildings in the London skyline, especially the beautiful-looking glass towers and is actually pretty nice, although it could use a few more high-rises in its skyline, particularly office towers, and it is kind of spread out, which might throw some people off. I give it a 7.5, although I accidentally gave it a 7. The new CityPlace condominiums are very nice-looking and adds very nicely.
mikep April 7th, 2005, 05:54 PM its not bad for its size, the blue glass bulilding is decent

MattSal April 11th, 2005, 05:21 AM Okay, but it needs more density. I give it a 6/10.
Chad April 13th, 2005, 03:34 AM Not bad at all...wondering why Canada cities has more skyscrapers than in the US.
james2390 April 13th, 2005, 03:42 AM London has a great collection.
7/10
Jaybird April 15th, 2005, 04:00 AM Not bad at all...wondering why Canada cities has more skyscrapers than in the US.
I always thought the opposite, that U.S. cities had more skyscrapers for city populations than Canada's cities... weird.
London's density is very limited, because it is spread out, but if all the buildings came together, it would make on hell of a skyline, IMO. For a city of its size, 350,000, that is.
Sonic from Padova April 15th, 2005, 05:55 PM for a city of 337.000 inhabitants it's a good skyline, I give a 8 !
B@dGuYoM April 15th, 2005, 06:25 PM 7.5/10
neilio April 15th, 2005, 11:06 PM i give it an 8 also cause for a city with only 450,000 (rough esitimate) metro population that is a good skyline!
ssiguy2 April 15th, 2005, 11:35 PM I could never be objective because I was born and raised in London. But.......for a city of it's size I think London has quite a decent skyline. I noticed that 3 25 story apt building weren't included. If you get a true airshot I think you would be even more impressed. Still, trying to be objestive..7.5.
Also, London is a beautiful city, very nice place.
clam_dude April 18th, 2005, 11:07 PM London's skyline is better than any other Canadian city with a similar population, with the exception of Niagra Falls. Places like Kitchener/Waterloo, or Windsor seem to have much smaller skylines. London also seems to be more urban than those places, although i haven't spent much time in Windsor or Kitchener/Waterloo.
Muyangguniang April 18th, 2005, 11:12 PM whoa!
Im impressed
It is almost better than English London!
Good job Canadian London!
7,5

marpa October 25th, 2005, 09:16 PM pretty city, skyline average
5 / 10
xzmattzx October 25th, 2005, 10:17 PM 8.5
impressive for a city with a metro around 500,000. i wish wilmington had buildings as tall as those. i think we only have 1 or 2 that would be any close. the only disappointing thing is that the buildings are too spread out. if the gaps were filled with midrises, it would get an easy 10.
k19 October 26th, 2005, 01:05 AM nice 8.5/10 IMO
El_Greco October 26th, 2005, 03:07 AM 7/10
clam_dude October 26th, 2005, 06:49 AM Ah yes, the good ol home town. Looking at those pics makes me want to go back, but not in the damn winter! That pic of Richmond street on the second page looks friggin cold. Definately a better skyline and more urban than most cities it's size. It also has pretty cool nightlife.

will.exe September 3rd, 2006, 10:00 PM I was going to post a poll for this skyline, but then I found this one, and the pics are better. Honestly, I give my city a 7.5. Its good for its size but on a global scale is simply average. Just wait till the Harriston and the Ridout block towers are complete:)

Btw, looks quite nice compared to the city's size. Typical Canadian city probably, I've voted 6/10.

Yes there is a Paris, Ontario and was a Berlin, Ontario (Now named Kitchener), and all are located within an hour of each other.
Kitchener is nearly more German than most actual German cities
ssiguy2 September 7th, 2007, 10:20 PM Certainly not spectacular but for a city of just 350k its pretty good........................8/10
thryve September 7th, 2007, 11:12 PM ^^ We had a Berlin, but it was renamed to Kitchener a long long time ago. Hopefully they change it back someday! It has been talked about.

Good for a city of its size, but could do better coming from a resident of the city.
It needs more modern development similar to One London Place and Talbot Centre, although the residential highrises being constructed shows progress.

liburni August 29th, 2011, 10:53 PM I live in London and unfortunately its downtown is horriable.
Skyline is spreadout and besides scotiabank tower there isnt really any other towers worth mentioning.
5/10
clam_dude August 31st, 2011, 06:10 AM Although London's downtown is a little dead, it seems more urban than many other cities of the same size (400,000) in Ontario. Kitchener/Waterloo, Windsor, etc, don't seem nearly as urban. London actually feels like a big city for the 5 sq blocks or whatever that is downtown.
isaidso August 31st, 2011, 08:10 AM I haven't been there in 25 years, but I remember it having a good downtown for its size. Besides those Ontario cities mentioned, it beats Mississauga's core as well.
MelboyPete September 1st, 2011, 08:41 PM 4.5/10
BigMaster95 January 1st, 2012, 04:51 AM I gave it a 4/10, sorry but I think quite the opposite. It's very small skyline FOR a city of it's size.... The city of London's not that small... It's the 10th largest city in Canada so it's pretty mid sized and there are far more cities under 400k in Canada with better skylines. Regina, Saskatoon, Halifax, Hamilton (a bit bigger) even Windsor in my opinion seems to have a bigger and better skyline than London. It just seems too spread out and not good enough for it's size imo.
oceanmdx January 1st, 2012, 05:57 AM London is now the 11th largest city (metro).... K/W/C is ranked 10th.
6/10.
ssiguy2 January 1st, 2012, 08:41 AM Actually London has a lot of skyscrapers for it's size with two more over 20 stories in the inncer city under construction as we speak. They are both residential and downtown London's population is growing very fast which has, amongst other things, really turned the downtown around.
London' inner city has a lot of very good restaurants, cafes, and shopping in it's inner city which is helped by London being a white collar, university, old wealth city.
SydneyCity January 1st, 2012, 09:19 AM 6.5/10.
