Wouldn't the replacement of that truncated pyramid dome on Her Majesty's Theatre look magnificent? I never understood why these were ever removed from certain buildings.

Her Maj's has had a massive upgrade inside and the stage equipment by the latest owner Mike Walsh.

The Library of the Supreme Court, the domed building in the centre of the Law Courts, stands within the building’s courtyard.
It was built in 1877.

Looks like some of the statues on the top of the Vic Railways building(now Grand Hotel) have been removed over the years - mores the pity.

^^ Removed from the roof and above the ground floor entrances when they added more levels.
I have no idea what happened to the statues.

^^The former Royal Mint just houses private offices now.
It is the former Treasury building on Spring Street that is now the City Museum. :)
