Those are the Kuwait Towers completed in 1979.
They are used as an observation tower, a restaurant, a water tower and have other mechanical uses.

That's the Liberation Tower. It was finished in 1996 and is 372.0 m to the top of the spire.

Has a couple of nice buildings and a lot of uglier ones which add to a reasonably well-defined skyline, which the Liberation Tower adds to. However a bit too much overkill on the towers, and lacks enough density and new stuff overall.

But those "testicals on toothpick" towers have got to go. Shanghai could get rid of their's too!
