Thanks for the post SP!RE. I think the University of Waterloo's planned health care campus downtown, and Wilfred Laurier's school of social work will really help Kitchener.

Hey that's a cool conversion. From a bland commercial block to a bland commercial & loft block!

Gawd I wish they did more to transform that building. Either way though, it's good to bring more of these Loft developments to downtown Kitchener.

Those floorplans have the fewest windows of any development I've ever seen.
That must be a pretty wide floorplate. Too bad they didn't put in an atrium to get more light into the core of the building.

I believe they will be adding more windows... not entirely sure though.

They're pretty darn cheap though, eh? If only I could get something that price in Victoria. I'd almost get over the small windows. LOL The location is hard to beat though. Could be a good investment if Kitchener Downtown can manage to turn itself around. Nice location with WLU and UW city campus nearby and City Hall etc.

There is no doubt in my mind that both Kitchener's downtown and Waterloo's downtown (now called uptown) are on their way up. These centers are priorities for the Provincial Government, and the economy is so strong.

Finally we can call our downtown a downtown, rather then a shit hole.

Maybe if they fix up the Cedar Hill and Sand Hill's neighbourhoods, there wont be anymore innercity ghettos, so the suburban soccer moms can go downtown.
