A city does not have political influence.

What else can we expect from a Pakistani who races ahead to generalize American influence in Pakistan for whole of Asia . Bush might setup military bases and instruct Musharaff his next agenda like a dog master , but the question is not about world politics but Asian(and not just paksitan) political sphere
IMO , Washington is most influential city in world but second in Asia to Beijing right now .
Asian cities certainly have more say on regional matters than US . But for world politics , obviously USA .

Doesn't India suck up to US, don't tell me "no", because it does.

Not as much as Pakistan . Musharraf is a mere puppet dictator . Its a fact . While Bush proclaims democracy in every part of world in his second innagural speech , he turns a blind eye to Musharaff .

If it's the biggest political influence on Asia, then it's Washington DC.
If it's the biggest political influence in Asia, then I think it's Beijing.
Tokyo exerts significant economic influence in Asia. Japan's role in the international community is still very small for a country of such economic power.
