Only the height is considerable. :sly: The completed buildings are very good!!! :okay: Prince_Ahmed May 14th, 2005, 10:16 AM waaw, its a beautiful bldg in a breathtaking surrounding, so cool  Þróndeimr May 14th, 2005, 10:22 AM Beauitful images indeed, though i really think JW Marriott should redesign the tower. Childish King May 14th, 2005, 10:26 AM Beauitful images indeed, though i really think JW Marriott should redesign the tower. It's under construction. metallinestorm May 14th, 2005, 01:23 PM Beauitful images indeed, though i really think JW Marriott should redesign the tower. i don't think so, after all Marriott may just second tallest building in Jiafangbei CBD, it isn't so called city crown. if the No.2 is perfect the No.1 has regret, simply Marriott emphasize a Chinese idea: beautiful red flower need beautiful greenery as adornment. someone compose this pic, let us watch the 360m huge greenery and waiting for red flower blooming at Chongqing Jiefangbei CBD. http://files.photojerk.com/metallinestorm/image1.jfif Bahraini Spirit May 14th, 2005, 01:58 PM i don't think so, after all Marriott may just second tallest building in Jiafangbei CBD, it isn't so called city crown. if the No.2 is perfect the No.1 has regret, simply Marriott emphasize a Chinese idea: beautiful red flower need beautiful greenery as adornment. someone compose this pic, let us watch the 360m huge greenery and waiting for red flower blooming at Chongqing Jiefangbei CBD. http://files.photojerk.com/metallinestorm/image1.jfif Not sure if this building will really fit, looks out of place in that pic as the overall style of buildings around it is completely different. metallinestorm May 14th, 2005, 02:43 PM Not sure if this building will really fit, looks out of place in that pic as the overall style of buildings around it is completely different. in fact many new style skyscrapers like Marriott is under construction. Jiefangbei CBD is skyscrapers heaven. buildings looks very tall now which just over 170m or 180m will be submerged in next 10 years. Chongqing have a plan and chongqing people are working hard now. http://files.photojerk.com/metallinestorm/00CCC860.jfif http://files.photojerk.com/metallinestorm/cbd1.jpg http://files.photojerk.com/metallinestorm/cbd2.jfif http://files.photojerk.com/metallinestorm/cbdm2.jfif by the way, in this Chongqing Jiefangbei skyscraper woods exist some famous old buildings like Chongqing city wall built 2000 years ago Luohan temple which built in Song dynasty about 800 years ago and a church built about 100 years ago, they are much different too :) . luohantemple http://files.photojerk.com/metallinestorm/luohan.jfif old city wall and new sculpture http://files.photojerk.com/metallinestorm/00ED877C.jfif church http://files.photojerk.com/metallinestorm/church2.jfif gurukool May 14th, 2005, 02:51 PM jwmarriot is nice but chgqg looks really nice especially the old chinese architecture and sculpture metallinestorm May 14th, 2005, 03:21 PM look at skyscraper in red circle the building called Zourong square, don't think it is a little one. and the building in black circle this one also big. IMO, the two pic have different scale. http://files.photojerk.com/metallinestorm/plan1.jpg http://files.photojerk.com/metallinestorm/zourong.jfif http://www.zs-car.net/bbs/UploadFile/2005-4/2005423115519300.jpg Travis007 May 14th, 2005, 04:55 PM JW Marriot might just be a normal glass box but it's my favorite glass box for some reason. It has beautiful clean lines and it's huge. Chongqing has also many nice towers! :D tiger May 14th, 2005, 08:13 PM JW MARRIOTT IFC will be in blue or other colors? AJphx May 14th, 2005, 10:39 PM very nice tower. I think Chongqing may be the most impressive chinese skyscraper city (besides Hong Kong) right now. It is building a very tall and dense central district. Phobos May 14th, 2005, 10:52 PM JW Marriott will look great if they make the facade like it is in the renderings. If they don't,it will be another boring box :) metallinestorm May 15th, 2005, 05:04 AM very nice tower. I think Chongqing may be the most impressive chinese skyscraper city (besides Hong Kong) right now. It is building a very tall and dense central district. thank you. but you forget ShangHai and Shenzhen. Shenzhen decide build other 25 buildings over 200m so the number over 200m will be 38, comper with Chongqing's size, Shenzhen has more crazy density. ShangHai, that is a monster, Chongqing can't win it, trust me. IMO, Shanghai have more buildings over 8 floors than Hongkong, but Hongkong have more buildings over 100m, but Shanghai have higher buigding than Hongkong 468m oriental pearl 430m JInmao tower and 500m Shanghai finance center is u/c. they are first class. Shenzhen Guangzhou Chongqing are second class. a corner of Shanghai city http://files.photojerk.com/metallinestorm/shanghai.jfif Urban Dave May 15th, 2005, 10:17 AM  It looks like this city is going to have one of my favourites CBD in Asia! Ashok May 15th, 2005, 04:44 PM cool design, i find it too tall thou Bahraini Spirit May 15th, 2005, 05:45 PM in fact many new style skyscrapers like Marriott is under construction. Chongqing really needs a facelift, there are sooo many old lookin buildings down there. It's growin fast though. ncon May 15th, 2005, 05:48 PM wow chongqing look very nice beyond my imagination !! i thought chongqing at first only a village , but after seeing a pic only can say fabalous!!!! become one of my favourite cities in china!! good city! |
