Hi, well this is great news, massive step in the right direction to achieve the educational reform targets set for the next decade, enjoy:
Batelco was yesterday given the Cabinet go-ahead to establish a massive educational telecommunications network in Bahrain.
The session, chaired by Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, gave Education Ministry officials a green light for signing of the key project.
Their decision came after ministers listened to a report detailing plans to link all schools under the King Hamad Future Schools project. It will take Batelco 10 years to establish.
In another Cabinet development, it was agreed to exempt a number of industrial companies from customs fees following a request by the Industry and Commerce Ministry.
Later the Cabinet approved a recommendation by the ministerial committee for legal affairs on establishing a Bahrain college for political development.
The Cabinet also endorsed Bahrain's accession to the international convention on peoples' political and civic freedom and referred the draft law to parliament and the Shura Council in accordance with constitutional regulations.
