this is a great building, and even better itl look so cool amongst the greater scheme of IBC when all is done. I find it frustrating but exiting how they built one tower at a time, smallest first. Why? seems thay are doing the same with Complex federation

well, we don't have much good studios. jew few. our graphic business is under developing.

if that render in the triumph palace thread was anything to go by, i'd say that russian graphics studios are amazing!

I've counted only 26 floors - it makes each floor 5,2m high - quite high for an office building!!!

i counted 30 levels, but anyway quite strange... may be they counting u/g levels...

i'll try contact them to be sure on heights.

Looks very cold. And nice to see the third tower rising too.

It's not cold at all. Just +2C today. But with negative temperature construction goes slower just for a bit.

It seems like russians wants to build more and more buildings, and I agreed with that. Moscow is growing fast as it is Dubai doing, both cities in my opinion are getting their own space in the world, I'm not saying that these cities haven't a place before, but I think this cities with every it pass are getting more important.

It is 1-1.5 km outside Garden Ring, the circle street that more or less contains historical Moscow; it is not too far from the center, ~5km from Kremlin; still closer to Kremlin than to the outskirts of the city. Historical downtown does not have any highrises (except for 7 sisters that are located approximately along Garden ring).

100 years ago this was an end of the city. That time in Moscow the construction of a railroad ring took place. This was the main project in Moscow that time. Along this railway ring many industrial zones were built. Later in middle of the last centiry Moscow grew beyond this RR ring. But the places along the RR remain dirty, industrial territories. 15 years ago Moscow mayor decided to build a new business centre in one of the industrial area near the RailRoad. Now Moscow has a new road (third ring) along this old RR ring.

It is 1-1.5 km outside Garden Ring, the circle street that more or less contains historical Moscow; it is not too far from the center, ~5km from Kremlin; still closer to Kremlin than to the outskirts of the city. Historical downtown does not have any highrises (except for 7 sisters that are located approximately along Garden ring).

That's quite cool, although it is nice to keep this skyline out of the historic centre, it's good that it isn't too far away, kept as a completely seperate city almost.

We don't know yet. The core is reached level 57. This is 250,3 meters according to original plans. Level 57 was expected to be last. But some, not really reliable, sources says it has been increased to 268,5 meters by roof (61 levels) to become the Europe's tallest. If it's true, the building height is going to be around 269,8m by architectural pinnacle.

Only a year, when it will be surpassed by Federation Tower.

Or by CC 'Moscow'.

Next Europe's tallest will be Moscow tower from City of Capital complex. Its height is going to be somewhere between 274 and 284 meters. Federation Tower A will top out in late 2008. So it's quite possible that Eurasia with about 303m will be the ETB for a short time as well.

So, they will each hold the title for a few months.

Yea, we're really not sure about that. First it looks great, then it looks bad, then it looks great again. So yea.

This is really one of my favorite towers. Simple but sophisticated. Love it!
