You know i thought Chad's comment was very ironic cos when i saw the design for the business centre i thought immediately of Polyecran - a multimedia installation by Josef Svoboda in 1967:

It was made of what Josef called magic lanterns, individual multimedia boxes that moved and projected tectonic imagery of "the creation of the world" as a moving sea of images.

So yap this design for the Business Centre is very nicely wired like the way Josef Svoboda composed Polyecran.

And the design just strikes me as being so futuristic and totalitarian that it absorbs Moscow's legacy like a sponge. It is so moscow, and so light years ahead of the world. It could be precisely what moscow needs to reclaim its cityscape significance.

well I don't see anything that bad with the towers, except that they might not look that good because of their height, a 150m height might have been better, otherwise they will strike the skyline with their... 'uniqueness'

this is one of the weirdest projects i've ever seen
despite the design it looks fantastic
the mixture of these white and blue stripes makes it look even more fascinating

i'm sure they'll turn out to be great

I like these very very much. These towers look Sci-Fi to me, quite heavy and serious, almost like something from Star Wars. Weird to imagine that such thingies will exist in reality.

The renderings do look pretty ugly but we'll see how the towers turn out, hopefully they'll look much better. The models look hella tight.

Please tell me that vile chunky red thing is not going ahead. The size, shape and bulk ruin everything they are trying to accomplish - almost makes tower of Russia look like a matchstick. :( Tower of Russia is my favourite proposal of any - its deserves to look all its height and bulk and not be diminished or rendered less mighty by this obesce monstrocity sitting close at hand.

Alternatively, the proposal mentioned in this thread is intricate and interesting with a great use of texture and shape within the design aesthetic. Well done Moscow - a great addition. now all you gotta do it get rid of that chunky red thing.

This is definatly exiting, regardless of whether you like the design. I personally like it a lot.

Well, unfortunately City of Capital is not ever EEA work. New design made by nbbj.
However I still think that Montevideo and EEA's City of Capitals made in same style.

Moscow every day I see your beutiful skyline I realize that you are a beutiful city.

The design of this building is like an 80's building of a futuristic movie, but this design is unique, beutiful, and the name The City of Capital, it seems to be a power name, a name that gives the building a lot of importance.

IMO it is not ugly, but even if such is your opinion of the render, cladding is sometimes a tricky thing to judge by renders... let's see how it works out in reality.

The new Moscow IBC looks great! The building are a bit too close to each other, but the designs are revolutionary.

Yes, it is slow because they are working on the floor that is going to be shifting!

It took 3 months to build one block when the temperature was above zero.

6 days for one floor? thought it is much faster

Yes - at SPb tower, in process at Moscow tower. At SPb you can see works at first regular floor after mech. level.
