DonQui May 19th, 2005, 05:51 PM there are no European countries outside of Europe. All are very different from Europe. tkr May 19th, 2005, 06:03 PM Uruguay looks very European, and Argentina either. [Everywhen] May 19th, 2005, 06:15 PM australia and new zealand, carbon copy of u.k. canada carbon copy of u.s.a argentina and uruguay, carbon copy of spain Mekky II May 19th, 2005, 08:24 PM Argentina, with a long shot. They feel themselves really europeans. Küsel May 19th, 2005, 08:26 PM Canada, Argentina and New Zealand imo... Bahraini Spirit May 19th, 2005, 08:28 PM I'd say Argentina followed by Canada (Quebec). There are many countries with glimpses of European architecture in SA and other places but these are the most imo in their respective continents. New Zealand and Australia are more to the UK side. khay May 19th, 2005, 08:28 PM UAE, Israel, Hong Kong ;), Japan :D Kanji May 19th, 2005, 09:13 PM UAE, Israel, Hong Kong ;), Japan :D :D -----------------------------------------------KANJI, AHO BAJO Anniyan May 19th, 2005, 09:25 PM UAE, Israel, Hong Kong ;), Japan :D kvl' at first sight i was shocked seeing ur avatar... samsonyuen May 19th, 2005, 10:32 PM Argentina, Uruguay, Canada (province of Québec and Victoria) HirakataShi May 20th, 2005, 12:56 AM Quebec yes, the rest of Canada - goodness NO! Not even remotely so. Different demographics, architecture, city planning, and mentality. Kelsen May 16th, 2007, 06:07 AM Argentina and Uruguay:yes: Sen May 16th, 2007, 06:22 AM I'd say Argentina followed by Canada (Quebec). There are many countries with glimpses of European architecture in SA and other places but these are the most imo in their respective continents. New Zealand and Australia are more to the UK side. Quebec is nothing like Europe. I would say New Zealand, but I could be bullshitting here. MNL May 16th, 2007, 06:57 AM OLD Manila and Macao. :D Sen May 16th, 2007, 07:03 AM Macau is nothing like Europe. Having a few old churches and european style architecture does not make you European. MNL May 16th, 2007, 07:05 AM Oh, okay. :D PotatoGuy May 16th, 2007, 07:08 AM Yeah, I´d say Uruguay or Argentina, a lot of European influence there, and the cities overall are very european Resident May 16th, 2007, 09:15 AM millions??? I'd say less than 60. Unless you think the whole country participates in this forum. Latoso May 16th, 2007, 09:44 AM I'd say Wisconsin is like Switzerland with the Fonze. Ehhh! :okay: Giorgio May 16th, 2007, 10:03 AM iSRAEL,LEBANON A joke? Cristovão471 May 16th, 2007, 12:05 PM Sydney and Melbourne don't remind me of europe at all, perhaps a couple streets are similar to london, proabably hobart because of the climate and old buildings and it is the oldest city in OZ, so it relates to the UK. Intramuros (manila) reminds me of a spanish village perhaps toledo. But OZ has a fair bit of sprawl and most buildings are new. but still is the best country (to me) Alibaba May 16th, 2007, 12:21 PM BA and some Mexican cities may be good suggestions... Paddington May 16th, 2007, 12:31 PM When I think of Argentina I think of the Buenos Aires with its high rises and the rural areas with the cowboys. Neither of those seems European. wjfox May 16th, 2007, 01:10 PM http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=451910 |
