There's a widespread interest, and fast-growing demand for cladding systems (rainscreen wall systems) here in Russia. It is becoming more and more popular each day.
And the demand for skyscrapers is increasing, too (Now Triunph-palace is going to be the tallest building in europe, for some time)
i wonder if we can discuss the problem of using cladding in skycrapers:
1) cladding vs. curtainwall (glass)
2) material of substructure (aluminium vs. steel - corrosion matters)
3) just a technical solution of thermoislation problems or a superb exterior
4) the most famous producers/architectors in the field
There's lack of information, so ANY comments are highly appreciated
