Exterior: Flame-cut Lac Dubonet granite panels combined with green Quartzite inlay panels complemented by anodized aluminum mullions and stainless steel accents.

Interior: Beautifully polished, flame-cut Brazilian Sanduba granite floors, columns and walls, with Lac Dubonet flamed and polished accents. Artwork supplied by MOCA is rotated on a continuous schedule.

Plaza: California Plaza features a 1.5-acre watercourt containing a large "waterstage" of Borington green slate; tables and benches provide plentiful seating. Water features, including a spiral fountain, waterfalls, shooting fountains and cascading waves, as well as a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, produce a dramatic backdrop for the public concerts and performances that take place during the fall and summer months.

I like the shiny blue glass. It has a nice colors and it has a good height. I give it a 7.5.

If this was 900 ft. tall it would be unbelievable. Better than the Rialto Towers.

I like the curves, and the indentations that make the large tower look like three towers are kind of folded into one, and the smaller one like two towers folded into one...The stone bases are a nice contrast (though the glass might have been the same shade of blue as the curtain walls?) And speaking of curtain walls, those are nice, sleek and elegant - they really dance with the light! And I like the contrasting colors on th smaller tower. The plaza also looks nice...

Only drawbacks, IMO - the *SIGH* flat roofs, and maybe a setback or two might have been nice.

ahhh. . .these were always may favs in LA. . . .the tops could use some swimming pools or a basketball court;)

Two California Plaza is a really nice building. I live near LA and my opinion is that this is the most beautiful (not the tallest obviously) skyscraper in LA. BTW, dont you think that LA needs some new skyscrapers?

Hey there everyone!! :) I think that this is one of the most beautiful building in Los Angeles, ooohhh Hell i think most of downtown Los Angeles's buildings are beautiful!!!! :D This is only one of the Three that were proposed for the Trio. Of course you know that their are only Two, but their was to be THREE!!!! and that one was to be 915 feet tall or 270 m tall. How amazing would that be? I gave it a perfect 10/10

9. But alas, I'll always remember this as the place where David Palmer got 'skin disease'...

I love this building. I gave it a 9.5. Trust me it looks the best when you are there live. I heard a rumor that they are building a Three California Plaza Tower which will be about the same size of Two California Plaza Tower.

Very nice building. The adjacent building and the facade really add a lot. I give it a 9/10. :okay:

It would have been pretty cool with less framework around the windows. It really detracts from the glassy appearance. The shape as seen at the top is nice. Cute plaza as well, but the lower stories do not integrate with the glassy part.
All in all, a wasted opportunity.

I see these two buildings on my commute everyday and knew very little about them. They are very prominant from the east and look attractive. I've always loved blue glass and the huge curved facades are unique. They resemble the Bank of America in Dallas, which is a good thing, and it would be cool if they were lit up like that at night. But good height and they look imposing up close. A great addition to LA's skyline.

Beautiful, elegant, and simple. Very Hong Kong style at night, with blue and purple lights.
Looks like a giant mirror from the sky, and very light-blue from ground level.
Looks very attractive from the south and east.
But the base is.... well I don't know how to describe it...
