Probably not to many perth members know but the 1960's jardine house on the terrace between mill and king street on the northern side next door to the singapore airlines building has been undergoing a $20 million upgrade for the past year
today i drove past and the top floor of the new facade has been revealed, i couldn't get a good look but its a huge improvment from before, very soon the scafolding will be removed and a contempry buildings fadade added to the terrace and a new cafe

yah from what i can see of the facade it looks awesome!!it is very bright blue and it will complement the spore airlines bldg next door...
the top couple of floors have been revealed for about a week now.. i walked past last week and had a good look :D

hmmm its about half way down now..
looks okay but not as good a i thought hehe...I also noticed that Cape Bouvards HQ has been renamed Emirates House :)
any updates on Harbour City or Market rise???
when is barrack plaza going to start construction??

whilst going 2 the skyworks last nite i walked past it. it looks kinda strange up close.BTW it only has about 1 more section 2 go

yeah it looks okay.. retro glass is pretty funky :).. anything would have been an improvement to what was there haha.. concrete piece of shit facade

its nice :D...
i think the great thing is what it will do for the streetscape... the lobby is very good it has really been opened up and flows into the street well unlike the old one...........and with the cafe there will bring some life to that area.... hopefully they will have some alfresco aswell...
