I have an old CD, bought on the very last day in VN full of images of architectures and building models and drawing.....some have labels so I'll put them in the right threads for everyone to see.............but this thread I'm posting the ones that I have no clue what it is and which location in Vietnam they are building.
If you're in Vn I think you should look for architecture CDs like this, they have new ones every year (mine is 2000 or 2002)
Also bought architecture books and magazines
the best two magazines: "kien truc" from "hoi kien truc su Vietnam"
and "Quy Hoach -Xay Dung" don't know who published them
both are published monthly
they have wonderful photos and illustration of new buildings and urban areas in all regions of Vietnam.......but I'm kind of lazy to scan all the photos......so I'll post photos in the CDs

I read "kien truc" books too. I borrowed them from a friend of mine, who are an architect student. It's very interesting, but almost the projects they showed in their books are in Hanoi because "kien truc" books are owned by a Hanoi organization.
But I will scan them and post many interesting projects to forum.

I'm working on it now, some images I think are taken right out from the architects desk, the files are huge....some largest file 54.000kb.....I have to resize it

I always use the resizer that you can get from Microsoft, under power toys. It works the best out of a half dozen that I tried, and all you have to do is right click after you install it.

No a lot of projects from saigon and other cities are in the "Kien Truc" magazine too.

tell your friend to keep all the old books eh....don't throw them away.....I will buy them when I'm back. that magazine publishes bi-monthly .....so ya only have 6 issues in 1 year. that's why I had to search for them in all the old bookstores in saigon and I managed to grab 5. it's the best.......other magazines like "nha dep" are miscellaneous ....they only focused on the home interior designs.
