As you can see there is also a small board, but I didn't had a clearer view from where I was.

Don't loose your concentration Flo. In Media City they they have the car parks UNDERNEATH the towers and not BEHIND them. ONLY in SZR it happens.

I'm 80% sure this will be the tower, however I doubt it will be a 200+, unless all that part above the gold part is a feature and all 43+M+G are below that level.

The board with the render is UP. The render I posted on post 16, IS NOT this tower, I repeat, IT IS NOT THE RENDER OF THIS TOWER!!!

Nice tower, and looks really tall.

But I think under 200.

Around 170m I think.

They were pouring alot of concrete on Thursday and today I saw the first pillars comming up.

Work started on the site since May, so it took somehow a long time to reach this stage, but now that it broke ground, hopefully it will rise fast.

The local Darwish Engineering ended 2005 with three major contract awards in three emirates. The projects include two high-rise residential projects and one road scheme.

In Dubai, Darwish has started work on the estimated AED 155 million ($42 million) Dubai Tower project on Shaikh Zayed highway, next to Business Bay and between Defence roundabout and the second interchange. The 43-storey residential tower will have a built-up area of 46,620 square metres. Turkey’s Zetas has completed the foundations works as a separate package. France’s Gambert Engineering Consultancy is the consultant. The client is a private developer.

mm this is taken 19F from ground level i think , so it might appear a bit small.

Flo, usually car parks (including that of Falcon) have two diffeerent floor plates at two different levels. Floor 2 is not on top of Floor 1 but alongside it, with the floor level starting halfway up, then the Floor 3 is on top of Floor 1 as the Floor 4 is on top of Floor 2 and so on.

This is done in order to allow for vehicles to climb it, otherwise climbing a floor it will mean going around and that will use alot of space.

It is difficult to explain but while the the parking has indeed 10 floors, it actually has 19 - 20 levels.

The tops sorta taking a while. Guess there concentrating on the cladding.

Good god it slow! In the time its taken them to do about half the cladding, the Al Tayer tower has grown like 30 floors and been almost 100% cladded.
