I think it's a fine tower, and Discovery Center is pretty neat as well.

I think u noticed last time u were in Bangkok, they changed the interior of the ground level-Siam Discovery Center quite a lot. Now, 3-4 months?..after u left, there even more changes there. Au Bon Pain Relocation, New Diesel Store, New Kenneth Cole, Shiseido Beauty Institute Relocation, Watson Flagship recently opened, Replay Flagship just opened and something elses.

Don't think I went there last time actually.. some surprises for next time then :)

Where's Au Bon Pain now? It's a good place for meetups with friends.

So many things coming up around that area, I guess hen the next time comes...The Discovery Center might not be your choice of visiting anymore ;)

by the way, Thailand got surfs, too? i've never seen anyone go to thailand to surf..how come it gets so many surfing clothes store...just fashion i think..

Not an expert on it but I think maybe Thailand is too close to the equator to get good waves.

THere are some surf spot in Samui, but the underwater landscape in Thailand coastal area is not suitable for surf due to not strong enough wave. Unlike Hawaii or gold coast that has a underwater canyon which creates waves.

I think that the shops tends dto get worser as you go up the top - take a look at the MOVIE WALK near the cinemas; its like most of the shops gone out of business

Siam Discovery is really a hub of new innovation in many fields.

10 Cup matches live at Major

Major Cineplex plans to show 10 World Cup games at its Grand EGV Siam Discovery complex as part of its "World Cup Festival".

Major would relay live five first-round matches: Germany and Costa Rica on June 9; England and Paraguay on June 10; England and Trinidad on June 15; Brazil and Australia on June 18 and the Czech Republic and Italy on June 22.

Two second-round matches will screen on June 24 and 27.

Major also plans to broadcast one quarter-final match and one from the semifinals and the final itself. Those matches will be shown on July 1, July 4 and July 9.

Anavach Ongvasith, head of Major's cinema business and media sales, said the "Major and EGV Cinesoccer by Honda" campaign was for fans around the country.

Everyone who goes to one of the 32 Major or EGV cinemas in Bangkok or the provinces for a movie will be given a coupon for naming the winner. Prizes include free movie tickets and other goodies worth more than Bt12 million.

"We expect the marketing campaign to boost moviegoers by around 15 per cent", Anavach said.
