I love the design. 3jeeb 7ada 3jeeb! I just wish they would start building more highrises in the seef area, 12 stories is only acceptable if the design is good! Thanks for the article.

Hehe guys didn't you notice the sea in the first pic, hint hint although some buildings in seef might have sea exposure but not that close. The one in seef, nice to see it way in construction, pic was shown last summer in the newspaper when they released a few bahrain projects including the city center.

WORK has started on two apartment block towers, together costing BD18 million, in Seef and near the Shaikh Hamad Causeway linking Manama to Muharraq.

Both projects are to be managed by the Elite International Group, a division of Dadabhai Group.

The Seef project is being developed jointly by the Dadabhai Real Estate and Development Company and Promoseven Holdings, headed by Akram Miknas.

The project on Shaikh Hamad Causeway, near Novotel Al Dana Resort, is owned by a leading Bahraini investment company.

Both projects will contribute substantially towards the development of Bahrain's tourism industry, said Elite International Group chief executive officer Shabeer Dadabhai.

"The 16-storey tower on Shaikh Hamad Causeway will house 154 apartments," he told the GDN.

"Equipped with all modern facilities of international standard, the project will be unique with seafront recreational and water sport facilities for families.

"The size of the apartments varies from one to three bedrooms and there is a special recreational area for children."

Work on the complex started two months ago and will be completed by the end of next year.

The Seef project is a 12-storey luxury complex featuring 130 apartments.

Work on this project, located adjacent to the new City Centre, started eight months ago and is scheduled for completion in early 2006.

"Both projects have all the facilities of a top luxury hotel, but will have no night-clubs or bars," said Mr Dadabhai.

"Instead, both will have theme restaurants of high international standard which will attract families from all the GCC states and beyond."

Dadabhai Group president Mohammed Dadabhai said the projects would complement the Elite Group's reputation as the biggest operator of tourism industry in the Kingdom.

"It will create about 200 jobs for Bahrainis," he revealed.

"Over the past five years, our group has been able to create about 3,000 jobs for Bahrainis.

"They were employed in various hospitality projects after giving proper training at our Baisan Institute for Hospitality Management."

With organised training in a professional way Bahrainis can take up gainful employment in Bahrain's hospitality industry, said Mr Dadabhai.

"Our group is committed to strengthening the government's efforts to promote the Kingdom as a true destination for international tourists," he added.

"We are specially keen to attract business tourists to the country through such luxury projects."
