Hi all!

A few weeks ago now, i sent a message to jan requesting a new Forum were users can post there own skyscraper designs. This led to the contest we are currently running. So far, i havnt heard anynews and so i wanted to make an opinion poll to see howmany people would like to have a forum dedicated to Reciveing feedback on any of your designs.

So,

Do you want a forum to Post and view Designs?

or

Do you not want to have a seperate forum for Designs?

In the private messege i metioned the fact that Your Skyscraper art isnt being utilised to its potential....take the contest for example....look how many people are participating! Your SS Art is dead....the new forum is being considered i believe, or so i have been told.

I think Superpolis should probably be done away with since it is dead anyways. 'Your Skyscraper Art' could be renamed to 'Post Your Own Skyscrapers', and the entire Superpolis Forum could be put into one thread within that forum for reference purposes.

Whatever happens, Superpolis is very much a dead forum (which is partially my fault since I was tired of keeping the map updated), so let's get rid of it, or start completely over again with a new city if somebody volunteers to be the map maker.

Also, Arryena City seems to be even more dead than Superpolis. Maybe there should be two forums for skyscraper art, One for sketches and drawings, and another for 3D modeling (not limited to Bryce 5 like Arryena City).

--Only if someone wants to start a new city by making a new map/rules/etc. (not me because I've been in charge of the Superpolis map and the SSP Map a while back)--

For Superpolis, it's really hard to keep up with the map, especially as people don't give them any lots.
But what could bring people over is if we could make one of those lists as in the RoS, RoA or RoT sections.
And the Built Skyscraper section I guess messed up the place, as people didn't know what exactly to do.

Actually as a test we had a 'your skyscraper contest' the other week which was quite succesfull by quantity, but not really so by quality. The key thing here is time, I myself lack too much of it help it kick off. Usually if a group of enthusiastic people want a corner of their own, they get it. So let us hear how you all feel about it.

I love the idea. I really enjoyed the Your Skyline section. It was kickin' all last summer, than really died down.

I'd like something where you could submit stuff from MS Paint, because I have been doing a lot of buildings with that lately.

With Superpolis, if you weren't there from the beginning when they started the place, it's not as fun, and a it's a bit awkward.

But I'd support this in a heartbeat.

^ Superpolis really had a huge dinner plate for hors d'oeuvre. But imo every move for a reshuffle, a downsizing of scraper art would be appreciated.

We should make a design your skyscraper forum thing, then have subforums like ms Paint designs 3d Designs and maybe even a weekly contest

i like :) except change Design to Your Skyscraper Designs i think. It will attract more people. also, there should be somewere people can submit other urban work such as stadiums and bridges

or we could do this, make a new Club Forum called Your Skyscraper Designs and then have the sub forums. The page will look like this,

Well if only ONE person is gonna use it, I guess why not?
I don't see the point, I thought Your Skyscraper Art was supposed to contain the 3D and other skyscraper scribbles we all do?

What about the former "My Skyline" section? The original idea of creating a model city is dead and was replaced by scale models of skyscrapers. Wouldn't calling the section "Skyscraper Models" or something like that be more accurate?

SS Art is dead. It didnt give the messege across of 'hey, come here and display your designs!'

This was further proven when the contest recieved like 4 pages of entries...so much un-released work.

The problem now is that noone can notice that theres a new section. I didnt notice to be honest until i read the PM i recieved from jan.

If only Jan would make an announcment!
