F.Y.I this school has 9 floors so we have to use lift all the time..
the most comfortable place to skip is TOILET!!!
THE TOILET IS EXTREEMLY CLEAN! maybe it's like in the hotel..
the view from the window is very nice.. i can see city view and the construction progress of the pakubuwono residence..

wtf? thats a schooL? must be private huh? does it also have a footballfield/baseballfield and all that stuff?

i went to school in jakarta through 1st and half of second grade when i was a kid.. the school was callled.... srikandi montessori but i think they changed the name to jagakarsa montessori right before we left but i dont have any pictures .. it was a cute school tho.. it was like a ginormous house that they made intoa school

I went to montessori too.. that when i was in kindergarten..

i didn't remember anything...

btw.. my school doesn't have football field or basebal or such things like that but we have indoor baketball and badminton court.

i'm in the IT class rite now..

yes. they really into IT. in binus all students have to take information systems subjects.
the building designed by hadiprana. hadiprana is one of indo famous architect. they also designed binus uni in senayan which is almost has the same feature of binus school buiding (glass n steel) and binus uni building won an award last year.
this school is featured in 'indonesia architecture now' book
i really like the building alot. actually it's look rather than a hotel/office building than a school. that's why so many mock us that i study in the office which is kinda true actually. it has 9 floors so we have to take lift all the time of walk by stairs if the lift are full. it's only has 6 lifts and there's almost 1000 people study here from kindie to highskool. the lift is so full in the morning. sometimes i have to take the stair from 1st floor to my homeroom in 5th floor. it's really exausting in almost every morning!

hey guys,
i find this forum very intersting and infomative while im half way around the world and missing my home like crazy. however, im not sure if this is relevant to post as a new thread or as a topic. but wondering if anyone could provide me with some pics of schools in jakarta or in Indonesia in general, hopefully share our thoughts on it. Our education is important in my opinion and im sure you will all agree. so lets see what happens. thanks guys.

^^ apa yach ??? Jangan ditanya gitu dong ahhh >_<" .... jadi malyu .,,,

Menghasilkan pelajar2 yang ikut Olimpiade ampe ke luar negeri ... Okeeee.... pernah no. 6 nasional dalam hasil UAN 3 tahun yang lalu ..... Setiap tahun, rata2 UAN nya tertinggi di Pekanbaru (dan ketika saingan melemah, kita jadi tertinggi di Riau juga .... soalnya sekolah2 di Kabupaten juga gak kalah bagus :D)

Hari Jumat pake bahasa Inggris (English Day) ... (tapi kayaknya sih standar kali yeee ...) ...

Yang pasti lahannya JAUUUHHH lebih besar dari SMA N 8 di sana ... :tongue2:, lapangan sepakbola, basket, voli, upacara, parkir, semua terpisah .... :D (kebayang gak gedenya..) ...semua kelas ( hampir 26-an kelas masuk pagi ...), sekolah cuman 1 tingkat, banyak taman di antara bangunan2 kelas :D ..

Yang paling beda adalah, "mungkin" ... kita sebelum mulai kelas "selama" 15 menit mesti baca Al-Qur'an dulu kali yeee .... Btw, yang non-muslim pergi ke kelas spesial ikut kayak bimbingan rohani gitu :D...

Masuk aje de ke threap PekanB :D. ...

Kalo negerinya di Pekanbaru gak usah heran lah ..... Sekolah ku bukan yang terbesar !!!!!... Kayaknya SMA Plus lebih besar (secara besar + bertingkat), SMP 13 Pekanbaru bahkan kelasnya dari VII-1 sampe VII-12 , VIII-1 ampe VIII13, IX-1 ampe IX 12 ...... semuanya masuk pagi ...... Dan kelasnya cuman 1 tingkat !!!! :D, ada tamannya, tempat untuk kelas "bertani" nya .... basket ball hall (yang pake canopy )tinggi de le le ..... Dan sekolah mereka di tengah kota....

CUman fasilitas mungkin gak seheboh di Jakarta ,,, menangnya di lahan .... Beberapa sekolah unggulan mungkin can make it to the national level ... Tapi tetep aja tidak semua sekolah :D

Lokasinya deket danau di rektorat. kondisinya sih sudah mau selesai, tinggal finishing katanya. yg gw denger sih katanya mau ada tempat bioskop, tempat Gym, dance floor, lift, dll...jujur sebetulnya secara pribadi gw ngerasa gak butuh itu semua, karena tidak ada sangkut pautnya dengan pendidikan.mending semua fasilitas tsb buat beli buku, biar koleksi buku di perpus makin lengkap.:D

sekolah ini meski ndak terlalu banyak prestasi mencolok tapi sering mendapat Piala/Piagam/Penghargaan dan salah satu SD generasi awal di Bjm, dulu d sekitar sekolah ini hanyalah tanah kosong menghampar sangat luas ke utara dari posisi sekolah ini, sekolah ku ini juga dulu awalnya cuman 1 sd tapi di akhir 80-an terpecah menjadi 3 SD berbeda yaitu AnBes 1, AnBes 3, dan AnBes 7 (AnBes 1 sekarang di seberang RTH Kamboja, AnBes 3 dihilangkan dan AnBes 7 adalah nama sebutan sekolah ini sekarang) sampai kalo ndak salah d ceritakan bpk kepala sekolah (dulu karena baru 1 minggu yg lalu pensiun) thn 2000/1 ke 2 sekolah itu dihilangkan dan hanya AnBes 7 yg dipertahankan sampai sekarang...:yes:

meski cuman -+ 100m dari rumah tapi serasa d dunia lain ketika memasuki sekolah ini *IMHO :D saat ini wajah sekolah sudah mulai berubah lagi secara bertahap"

bahkan selama aye mengayam pendidikan d sini setiap kali ada air pasang besar lapangan sekolah + pintu masuk + kantin terendam air :nuts: tapi sekarang semua itu sudah ditinggikan kecuali lapangannya

(maaf ndak ngampil papan sejarah&info ttg sekolah dari dekat)
