PROJECT: Goldcrest DHA
LOCATION: Islamabad
COST: $800m
STATUS: Launched
CONSTRUCTION START: 3 months from today (June 4th)
CONSTRUCTION END: 2008
At a fifteen minute drive from the air port, right on main Sheikh Zaid Bin Sultan Road (to honour late UAE President Sheikh Zayed), previously GT road, Gol-dcrest is situated against the scenic splendour of Phase II, DHA, ISB.
One of ISB’s newer areas, DHA Phase II has been planned to provide all the latest amenities such as underground power and telephone cabling, broad streets with an efficient drainage and sewage system, and a direct link to the Motorway, which will cut down commuting time and facilitate access for both residents and visitors. The usual stuff.
Built against the breathtaking backdrop of Margalla Hills, Islamabad has the distinction of being Pakistan’s most well organized city. Its systematically planned infrastructure designed to the needs of a growing population, along with its scenic beauty and pollution free environment are some of Islamabad’s most attractive features.
