I don't think that is Hotel/Apartment construction at Sudirman Square Complex. That new construction is behind Sudirman Square and still mistery for me.
Hotel/Apartment at Sudirman Square is beside/at the front of two towers... and has not start yet....
Anybody know what's that construction??

Yes, that's what I suspected. Because I think the SUdirman Strata Apartments have been postponed/redesigned...

its just my feeling. Cos once they painted the surrounding fence with the project name ("Sudirman Strata Residence Hotel Apartment") and since a year ago, the name has been removed. SO I'm guessing it either postponed, redeisgned, or the land is being sold to another investor..

anyway, its not necessarily a bad news. That design is old anyway (since 1997).

I went pass that mysterious construction site yesterday. The site was actually larger than the impression that I got from looking at the photo joko and encon posted, and there were so many cranes! I'm thinking that it might be Satrio Tower, a new office project that appeared in the latest Colliers report, since its located on Jl. Dr Satrio...

guys.. i passed dr.satrio st 2day.. i saw land behind sudirman square.. there're already cranes down there.. they already started the construction.. then i saw the information project board.. it said it's Menara Satrio.. so it's clear now..

The rendering of Menara Satrio will appear on the construction zone in 4-6 weeks' time...apparently (or so my source tells me), the design will be quite groundbreaking. :)

can't wait to see the design ;)

guys.. i passed sudirman square complex few times these days.. i saw they already put fences around sudirman office complex and also an empty land right beside sudirman office complex and i saw people working on there.. i think they're gonna start the apartment construction soon!! :cheers: hope so..

Cool. Sampoerna is planning a major refurbishment of the existing buildings, also planning to construct two new towers on that empty land if I'm not mistaken.

sorry guys, correction as some info trickled in. Nothing will be built on that land, that land will be converted into a city park (yay!). In addition, the the two existing towers will get facade overhauls.

haha well I'm not sure to be honest, but we all know the whole plot of land belongs to Sampoerna.
