My stay in Montréal was quite short - just 2 days, but I was able to cover most of the places that I wanted to go. Since I've been the city many times before, I only had to hit specific places that I didn't go to before. In future visits, I'll focus more on residential architecture. Many of the city's residentials have interesting staircases. These are quite unique to Montréal.

The new Bibliotheque nationale du Québec (BNQ) is the result of the novel amalgamation of the Grande Bibliotheque du Québec and the Bibliotheque nationale du Québec . The new library has breadth and depth in all fields of knowledge, and combines the preservation of the national documentary heritage with the large-scale dissemination of extensive Québec and universal collections.
