WOW - Gr8 pics and this surely places SAO on the pink map ;) Pride parades have failed dismally in South African Cities and I have to still experience a pride parade in Auckland but I am sure that it won't be anything like this.

Johannesburg gets about 10000 people at their annual parades. And the organisers never seem to do a good job in organising it! But hopefully we'll get the Gay Games in 2010, and that'll definitely be a huge success! :)

Toronto's Gay Pride Week & Parade are just around the corner too...

I missed it the pre-last year but it must be great - even if I am not gay. I Don't know why it's so underrated - it's the biggest street parade in the world - apart from that it's a gay parade, - they have more people dancing in the street than Berlin and Zurich parades together.

The Brazilian Supreme Court's decision to award same-sex couples the same rights as heterosexuals is a landmark step for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights in the country.
