only in our dreams I'm afraid... with the giant roadblock called AmTrak, which continues to get large sums of gov't subsidies when it loses money year after year... I really doubt it'd b possible...

The vote to use bonds to create a high speed train from SF to LA has been pushed again to 2008 from 2006. So we wont see it anytime soon.
