Brisbanes inner suburbs are easily ... awesome.
So full of character.

I had hardly realised it till i payed attention last week.

Old QLDers that are done up/renovated are some of the best architecture in australia
(although the ones not done up are easily some of the ugliest architecture in australia)

Thanks for getting those pics together :D

I think it's safe to say Spring Hill is easily Brisbane's best neighbourhood. It's just got that perfect balance of everything.

yes spring hill is a great part of Brisbane CBD.its got everything, elevated, diverse architecture + a view of the city!
i love st Pauls. In 1889 it was the tallest structure in Brisbane! It reached 45m/150ft to the 3m cross.(3m higher then Albert St Uniting also erected 1889,).The 3m cross was removed in 1950's due to conditon. its now 42m.Also the pinnacles at base of spire are gone.

Thanks for getting all those fab pics JayT :)

I stayed @ Carringtons on Gregory Terrace,
a restored 1884 Colonial home in Spring Hill:

BTW What is the buiding u/c in the pic below? Also the white building with the small
square windows, 2nd from the right without the spire? I'm pretty sure it's on Boundary Street.
It always makes me think that it's a building belonging in New Zealand for some reason.

Muse, the buildings u/c are Oxygen. The building facing the camera has the scaffolding taken down now and is also in the above pics.

The building with the small square windows is Dept. of Roads I think.
