I stayed near Bastille in Paris. Here are some photos of the residential buildings in this eastern arrondissement. It's a nice neighborhood, with a lot of street life, shops, but also quiet sidestreets. I really liked the pastry shop on Faubourg with the pain au chocolat!

The buildings looked as delicious as pain au chocolat. :)

Does your pain au chocolat looked something like this?

that's what they look like in tesco's and sainsburys, minus the runny chocolate center.
A tad too much on the dry side.

I see... Pastry are usually dry.

I like dark chocolate eclairs as they are not too sweet or dry :)
