This is my third favorite in Makati City. The facade looks great and is very high quality. Overall Design is awesome. Plus, i've been inside, and i must say the interior is beautiful!!

9.5/10 for me. Indeed, the history behind it is interesting. Renell, you should post other pics too...

Now, i only hope its big brothers will be built:
Ayala Tower Two - about 52 floors.:happy:

actually, the facade of that building was made of granite aluminum steel and glass, that's why the color is quite dark.

I gave it an 8.5

It has a nice contemporary feel to it, both inside and out. It had the proper glazing to suppress the intense Philippine heat (something that other significant glazed structures in the area lacks). Also, the dark green glass facade fits very well with the entire look of the structure.

Fairly notable is the "portal" that bridges the old (Locsin designed?) and new (stock exchange?) bldgs. which I think was an ingenius maneuver on the part of its designers. The fact that it became a successful social hub for passers by and employees alike is a testimony to this... and who would not notice the lush greenery it opened up directly to the public? In a dense urban environment, that is a much welcomed sight.

What I think lacks in this building is character. The international style just doesn't compliment the unique culture that it should have paid respect and homage to. You could place that bldg. anywhere in the world and still manage to say that it belongs to this place and that.
