I have a Sony camera so I go to the Sony store in COEX. Im gonna have to buy a 1 giga card soon as Im going to the US for 2 weeks.

I usually buy stuff like that on www.digicamshop.nl, its reliable, fast and good prices too. I also bought my camera there. I don't think they ship outside of the Netherlands though, and I don't think the Netherlands is the cheapest place to buy mem cards either, but it works for me, I got a 1 gig card for 82 euro's.

I bought my memory card at photo shop "Lemmer" in Leerdam. But the prices are waaaay too high. A 512 MB XD card cost €105,- :runaway:

That's a nice price UD. Which brand is it? I personally like SanDisk, they're quite cheap, and reliable too.

Keezy: that's an insane price man! You should check out online stores, you can get 512 mb XD cards for around 65 euro's, depending on the brand. I'm glad I'm using CF though, they're a lot cheaper than XD, or any other card media for that matter. Plus, they're one of the few that go over 512, and up to 4 gig.

Ultimate cheapo cards are CF cards. Max 8 GB capacity, I believe.

Hopefully they do not go obsolete within a few years.

I spent 80 dollars at Target for a 512 xD. That was a mistake, but I didn't really feel like shopping around. I'd buy it at newegg.com if you have the time to ship. That place has really good values, and good deals with shipping.
