Fantastic city, its modern architecture beats most modern buildings in Europe!

Ningbo has some great looking parks are public spaces. Wonderful city. Saw the banner today and decided to visit this thread. I'm glad I did.

Question: How strictly are parking rules enforced in the city?

I noticed in several photos (see "hotel we stay at" and Starbucks) above that cars were parked facing each other. While this happens frequently throughout the USA, I seldom see such blatant disregard for parking rules that can result in very large fines in USA cities. When I state blatant, I am suggesting two things: 1) I assume these pictures above were randomly taken, which means that the prevalence of traffic parking violations is quite high, and 2) the areas where these drivers parked appear to be very busy shopping areas.

While I do see people parallel parked facing each other sometimes in my own hometown, it is often in less densely populated neighborhood areas not in the CBD.
