Thats Buffalo Bayou, Houston has tons of bayous. Hence the name "Bayou City"

The Ship Channel runs into Buffalo Bayou about a 2 miles before it reaches downtown.

Houston Ship Channel To Close From 11 AM CDT-3 PM CDT
14 June 2005

HOUSTON (Dow Jones)--The Houston Ship Channel will close from 11 am to approximately 3 pm Central Daylight Time on Tuesday, according to a dispatcher with the Houston Pilots Association.

"They're removing some submerged dredge pipeline," the dispatcher said.

The whole Houston Ship Canal, Galveston, Texas City, etc is an amazing mix of commerce, industry and surprisingly recreation. A truly amazing 50 miles!!

Sorry Will, thats not you're fault, but the guys at stockyard must have scrambled their pics. This picture shows om the left the two 210 metre high Shell Refinery chimneys, and on the left you see the Esso/Exxon Refinery. In the front is the Vopak oil terminal, and the shipyard below is the Verolme Botlek Shipyards. I know every piece of quai here, so theres no mistake, thats why I saw this immediately. I don't know how they could screw up so clear at stockyards.
