No, It's the period between pilling and foundation.

The Pilling contractor, ItalThai Trevi finished their work. and it's a waiting period of time for the main contractor to move in.

Now some equiptments, temporary office has moved in to the site already.

Those little townhouses are really messy.Can't believe it is really close to Siam area which is really much developed and trendy.

I'm sure the owners will make handsome gains when they decided to sell or develop the land.

Not really, all owned by Crown Property Bureau.

Oh! this project has been talking for a while but no rendering available, I was wondering what it's gonna look like. Anyone has it rendering?

Wow!! it fills up the area, will rise fast along with Baan Klang krung, a nice neighbor.

I hope more highrises will rise immediately to the south of this one, to replace the rather dirty looking neighbourhood. Unless there is some conflict with the palace nearby.

Few years back, I heard someone on TV complained that why they're allowed to build tall buildings very close to the palace. He mentioned Siam tower, Siam Paragon and Condominiums in Ratchathewee.

A bit better than I had expected. The area is more grey than white so I don't mind the color either.

The location feels a bit odd behind those old, low-end houses.

yeah! those look very ugly. it shouldn't have such a thing like that very close to SaPrathum Palace though. Royal Crown property bureau should act something.

Both the new and old designs are really nice. I don't like the new parking floors though :( At least they might be hidden behind those old houses.

no, but it provide a higher-height for the single column supports system. Preventing the column it's self from bending over inward due to exceeded loads and minimize the sheer fource from outside windload.

Which makes the case possible for higher ceiling lobby ect without any visual inturruptions from the extra herizontal concrete transoms supports.

It would be interesting to see what they are going to do with the bear concrete at the lower part of the buidling and also how the smaller building will look like.

I like that lowrise part already, it looks like something the architecture blogs/magazines could pick up on in when it's finished. Makes the area more interesting.

I like this style of building. A glassy facade, simple box with some unique details.
It will be perfect if Bangkok have more this style highrises with about 200+m office building. :)

นางอนงค์วรรณ เทพสุทิน รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม (ทส.) พร้อม ดร.สุพัฒน์ หวังวงศ์วัฒนา อธิบดีกรมควบคุมมลพิษ (คพ.) นายสันติ บุญประคับ ผู้อำนวยการกองวิเคราะห์ผลกระทบสิ่งแวดล้อม สำนักงานนโยบายและแผนทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม (สผ.) เพื่อตรวจสอบการก่อสร้างอาคารแมคแคนน่า สูง 26 ชั้น ซึ่งตั้งอยู่บนถนนถนนพญาไท ตรงข้ามโรงแรมเอเชีย หลังได้รับร้องเรียนจากประชาชนว่ากระจกผนังด้านนอกสะท้อนแสงแดดเกินมาตรฐาน และมีแสงแดดตกกระทบบ้านเรือน ทำให้เกิดความร้อนมากกว่าปกติ รวมถึงวังสระปทุม ซึ่งที่ประทับของสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารีด้วย

นางอนงค์วรรณ กล่าวว่า ทส.ได้รับร้องเรียนจากประชาชนจำนวนมาก ว่าการก่อสร้างอาคารสูงใน กทม.หลายแห่งใช้กระจกสะท้อนแสง ส่งผลทั้งความร้อนต่อพื้นที่ข้างเคียง รวมทั้งระคายเคืองต่อสายตาของผู้ใช้รถใช้ถนน โดยเฉพาะอาคารแมคเคนน่า ประชาชนส่วนใหญ่ยังเป็นห่วงว่าอาคารดังกล่าวจะทำให้เกิดผลกระทบด้านความร้อน แสงตกกระทบ รวมถึงความเป็นส่วนพระองค์เพราะตั้งอยู่ใกล้เคียงกับวังสระปทุม ทั้งนี้เจ้าของโครงการก็ให้ความร่วมมือ เบื้องต้นจะนำแสลนด์มาปิดทับกระจกที่มีแสงสะท้อน ส่วนมาตรการระยะยาวคงต้องหารือกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องก่อน สำหรับความสูงของอาคารที่อาจเกิดความไม่เหมาะสมเนื่องจากอยู่ใกล้กับวังสระปทุมเกินไปนั้น เจ้าของโครงการแจ้งว่าได้เตรียมการไว้อย่างดีแล้ว โดยจะทำผนังภายในปิดอย่างมิดชิด ไม่สามารถเห็นทัศนียภาพด้านนอกได้ อย่างไรก็ตามจะได้ติดตามผลการดำเนินการอย่างใกล้ชิดต่อไป

รายงานข่าวจาก สำนักงานนโยบายและแผนทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม (สผ.) แจ้งว่า นายเกษมสันต์ จิณณวาโส เลขาธิการ สผ. ว่าสผ. จะนำเสนอแนวทางและมาตรการแก้ไขผลกระทบจากโครงการ แมคเคนนา เขตราชเทวี อาคารสูง 26 ชั้น ที่มีต่อวังสระปทุมให้ที่ประชุมคณะรัฐมนตรีพิจารณาในวันนี้ (1 เม.ย.) เพื่อให้มีคำสั่งการให้เจ้าของโครงการดำเนินการแก้ไขปัญหา

ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานว่า ปัญหาดังกล่าว สผ.เป็นหน่วยงานประสานเรียกผู้มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องมาหารือด่วน จึงได้มีการประชุมระหว่างตัวแทนบริษัท แมคเคนนาแลนด์ จำกัด เจ้าของโครงการ บริษัท อีอาร์เอ็มสยาม จำกัด บริษัทที่ปรึกษาด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมของโครงการ สำนักงานทรัพย์สินส่วนพระมหากษัตริย์ ผู้ให้เช่าพื้นที่โครงการ กรุงเทพมหานคร และ สผ. เมื่อวันที่ 28 มี.ค. ที่ผ่านมา ทั้งนี้ผลการพิจารณามี ข้อสรุปให้เจ้าของโครงการและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องดำเนินการดังนี้คือ

1. มาตรการป้องกันและลดผลกระทบด้านแสงสะท้อนและทัศนียภาพมี 2 แนวทาง 1.1 ให้เจ้าของโครงการทำการติดตั้งบานเกล็ดอะลูมิเนียมที่เคลือบด้วยสีน้ำตาลเข้มด้านไว้ที่ผนังภายนอกอาคาร และทำการปรับองศาของบานเกล็ดไม่ให้สามารถมองตรงไปยังวังสระปทุมได้ ซึ่งวิธีนี้จะช่วยแก้ปัญหาทั้งในด้านแสงสะท้อนและมุมมองจากอาคารโครงการไปยังวังสระปทุม หรือ 1.2 ทำการติดฟิล์มชนิดเพอร์ฟอเรตต์ สติกเกอร์ (Perforated Sticker) ที่ผนัง กระจกด้านนอกอาคารเพื่อช่วยในการลดสะท้อนเข้าสู่วังสระปทุม และติดตั้งบานเกล็ดไม้ภายในอาคารซึ่งเป็นการบังคับสายตาไม่ให้สามารถมองตรงไปยัง วังสระปทุมได้

2. ให้กรุงเทพมหานครประสานกับกระทรวงมหาดไทย ในการศึกษารายละเอียดการกำหนดข้อบัญญัติ กรุงเทพมหานคร กำหนดเขตห้ามก่อสร้างอาคารสูง ให้มีระยะห่างจากเขตพระราชฐาน และพระตำหนัก พร้อมทั้งจัดทำแนวทางการปฏิบัติในกฎกระทรวงมหาดไทยในการกำหนดการใช้กระจกสะท้อนแสงที่ มีค่าการสะท้อนแสงต่ำสำหรับอาคารสูงที่ตั้งอยู่ในพื้นที่ ดังกล่าว

รายงานแจ้งว่า สำหรับโครงการแมคเคนนาของ บริษัท แมคเคนนาแลนด์ จำกัด นั้น เป็นการก่อสร้างอาคารโรงแรมขนาดความสูง 26 ชั้น ตั้งอยู่ใกล้กับเขต พระราชฐานของวังสระปทุม ซึ่งได้รับการร้องเรียนด้วย เหตุที่เป็นอาคารสูงที่เป็นเรือนกระจกที่สะท้อนแสงสร้างผลกระทบส่อวังสระปทุมเป็นอย่างมาก ส่งผลให้ นางอนงค์วรรณ เทพสุทิน รมว.กระทรวงทรัพยากรฯต้องเดินทางไปตรวจดูสภาพบริเวณโครงการ จนมีการ ผลักดันให้มีการแก้ปัญหาด้วยมาตรการดังกล่าว.

ผมเหนอยู่ทุกวัน.....ผมว่าสีสวยดี.....แต่น่าเสียดาย...ผิดที่....

เลือก site ผิดคิดจนตัวตาย

แต่ผมว่ากระจกมันก็ Reflective ไปจริงๆนั่นแหละครับ

ก็อย่างว่า กระจกล้วน ถ้าไม่ reflective มากๆก็คงไม่ผ่าน OTTV.

เสียดาย!!
แล้วตึกสยามทาวเวอร์ หรือตึกอื่นๆที่อยู่รอบๆวังไม่มีปัญหาเรื่องการมองเห็นภายในวังเหรอครับ
กระจกสะท้อนนี่พอเข้าใจ แต่จะให้ติดบานเกล็ดเพื่อบังสายตาผมว่ามันมากเกินไปนะ
หรือว่าเป็นเรื่องที่ต้องทำใจ... เฮ้อ

As much as I like this building and the vertical garden at its main entrance, the slums that surround it make it lose much of its charm!

You can see people swimming through a clear glass wall when riding skytrain!
