I just heard breaking news on CH that Ron Joyce is donating $10 million for the Sport Complex at McMaster University.

Ron Joyce is one of the founders of Tim Hortons. He used to work with the real Tim Hortons on Ottawa Street. Now he's on the richest man in Canada.

I'll try to get an article in a bit. Gotta wait until someone writes up an article about it.

McMaster sports gets huge donation

HAMILTON - Ron Joyce has donated 10-million dollars toward the construction of McMaster University's new football stadium.

It's the largest private donation made to a university athletics facility in Canadian history.

The 13-million dollar Ron Joyce Stadium will seat 6-thosuand fans when it opens in September 2007.

It's being built next to the Ivor Wynne Centre, which is currently undergoing a 30-million dollar expansion itself.
