Okay, I know you can just edit them in imageready, photoshop, or whatever, but is there an easy way to modify size of pictures, perhaps through the image hosting sites that can make the pictures appear smaller. I tried to begin a photo thread with my own pictures, but they turned out so huge.

you can try using File | Automate | Batch... in Photoshop after creating a resizing action to resize all pics in a folder to another.

There's a windows XP powertoy which allows you to resize multiple pictures at once:

I find that it keeps an excellent quality while getting file sizes down significantly. (And you could not make anything easier to use, it's just an explorer extension)
