Okay, on the 24th I will be headin west to Hays, KS, home of Fort Hays State University, where I am finishing my degree. I have noticed on the map I will be going through: St. Louis, KC, and Topeka. I have been to St. Louis, but not the the others.
Haven't heard or seen much on the site about Topeka. Any info, pics, etc.
Are there any other cool towns/cities to see on the way? I'll be in Hays for a few days and then back to Lexington.
From what I gather, Hays, KS is half way between KC and Denver.

Lord have mercy! For all my life--we've always drove on I-70 from Ohio to Colorado to our summer cabin and going through Kansas is such a mind-numbing experience. Take my advice--run for the hills away from the flatness and endless view of wheat!

:hammer:

^^^ LOL, well it looks like I'll have to pack some good music to jam too on this trip!
Is there any other info out there?

Well if you are stopping by KC check out the usual places, The Plaza, River Market, Crown Center, Union Station, downtown and everything in-between. Most of the action in this metro is in this area.

Cool thanks Kansan...I'll do that. Downtowns and Union Station (if a city has one) are a must almost everywhere I go. I've seen some great pics of KC so I am looking forward to stopping.
