It is really amazing to see how many buildings are raising from ground in Ir Yamim (near Ramat Poleg) !

They are mainly Chinese People (who are very fair, polite, and kind guys) who are working there. I have no idea of what will be the future in this neigbourhood, they are talking about hotels and holidays villages.. do you know where we can get more information about the future projects which are scheduling there, some maps etc.. ?

Yes, I'm from Ramat Poleg, which is really a very nice place, I enjoy this quite, residential and nice neighbourhood.

As you know, till now, there is no hotel or touristic infrastructure there.. but I have read they plan to build many buildings / Hotel / Villages, Promenades, in Ir Yamim, and even Donald Trump promised to Netanya Major (Myriam F. Icar) to build an hotel there, but may be, this is only rumor to increase the price of m2 of new luxuous buildings (which are already high !).

I'm living in Savidor Street, near the MetroMarket in Ramat Poleg.
I know Hof Hayarok, and I spent sometimes there in the Ulpan Akiva to learn hebrew (and regarding my hebrew level, I think I should stay more time there..........).
Regarding the future of the neighborhood, I found some interesting threads in this forum, with a french guy named M. Laurent Galllula who had the same expectations last year.
I discovered yesterday that the first appartments of Ir Yamim Tower have been occupied.. (3 appartments were lighted). I would be very pleased to know the future of Ramat Poleg, cause this is very nice place, and I hope they will not disfigure the landscape....
Regarding the Marina, we need to be careful about the rumour.. because this has impact on m2 value.. idem with D. Trump, I have read till now only promises (in 2006 year), but no real agreement...
Anyway, I am very interested in this subject, and if you have any news, I will be very pleased to know it.

But we should talk more about this international airport.
I think its a good idea...but Israel is so small for two....

on a good basis, it may be smart if Israel had an airport per say in the north that was dedicated to flights in the local area (like egypt, jordan, turkey, the asian destinations, africa) and one for elsewhere like for Europe and the Americas. That way more companies can fly in...

but having one as it is is a hassle....so much air traffic and noise traffic that a densely populated place anywhere in Israel, especially in the sharon area of netanya would not take...

Im in Vancouver right now (hello 3 hours away) and i seen some amazing designs, but the place to work and have fun is incredibly small.....
Some of those ugly designs have rooftops and amazing balconies. Not to mention penthouse styled units...

^^You're right. Vancouver is gorgeous but pretty boring, unless you're into skiing, kayaking, etc. But architecture and design, though correlated to how exciting a place is to live, are kind of a separate issues too. BTW, Yaletown's pretty cool. Enjoy.

Urban your pictures are great, but you might consider putting bigger sizes here. To be able truly appreciate the picture you should see it bigger size. going around and click every picture is kinda long and tiresome. Just think about it. :)
