many israeli cities looks similar.....:)

The similarity of cities is because the same companies build the same buildings just with very little changes: in a line, around a park, in an r or u shape around streets
and so on. But the white towers and white 6-flat blocks are to be seen everywhere
and somehow we are developing a unique style of architecture which some people
think is quiet good.

The Israeli architecture is good, at least it looks good in most cases..

It looks good when:
A) It is photographed from far away
B) It is new like cities of ashdod or netanya
C) It is painted on a normal basis and not left to neglect and turn grey or black
and
D) It has some kind of features not just plain white cubes.

Netanya is pretty much an example of the typical Israeli city in which it is dominated by housing projects.

it looks like the Anatolian Part of Istanbul. Only diffeence is Netanya has not much green area...

because Netanya is desert.....

all empty areas are sands...

I feel bad that Netanya had to face a terrorist attack just recently. :(

Actually, it is money. Don't forget that when those houses were built (20-30 yrs ago), This country was much poorer, with a much smaller GDP per capita.

Hmm... I've never been in Netanya but my friends father's family is from there while originally from Yemen. My friends grandparents supposedly live in the "center" next to a Canyon (Mall). It's practically the only private house in the area and he's so stubborn that he doesn't want to sell it... and grows gat in the front yard. Any Netanyans here know of this house? Have any pics...? :D

I just never seen lawnmowers (MACHINES?!?!? WHAT A ENGINEER! WHAT AN ENGINEER!!!!) in Israel!!!!

I was thinking they might have a mini-cart lawnmower like they do in rural areas in Canada for alot of land. fast and easy.

But in any case, i was wondering cause i was reading some cases for school regarding reapers - which are for agriculture. And it said it was difficult to implement them outside USA/Canada and bring them to England and Germany. But later they did.

And Russia/USSR never accepted that and thats why communism typcially fail...cause they never accepted a reaper into their agriculture system!!!
