You get the perfect skies and the shiny lights in the same picture.(with the use of simple cameras with no control of shutter speed)
:D
Medo June 19th, 2005, 06:14 AM thanks for the handy tip cliff
touraccuracy June 19th, 2005, 06:55 AM Looks great but you have to wait around all day with the camera in the same spot!

Kit June 19th, 2005, 11:58 AM This is multiple exposure, a particular technique that has been around for as long as I can remember. Its a lot easier done on digital than film.

Ellatur June 21st, 2005, 03:19 AM how do you change the opacity?
touraccuracy June 21st, 2005, 04:12 AM Photoshop: on the layer tool box.
PotatoGuy June 21st, 2005, 04:45 AM looks cool
Gendo June 21st, 2005, 10:22 AM Damn double posts.
Gendo June 21st, 2005, 10:23 AM The second and third photos are fabulous Cliff. I think they're better than the final composite image, but I'd use any one of them as a wallpaper if they were larger.
Urban Dave June 21st, 2005, 11:21 PM Maybe with some less contrast would look better ;)
RRo June 23rd, 2005, 03:09 AM that seems impossible to most people (well to me).
Nick in Atlanta June 23rd, 2005, 05:15 AM Nice job Cliff! I've got to get PS! I've got a free copy of The Gimp and I'm trying to figure it out by experimenting.
Regarding layering, I think it was done with regular film, where one layer was taken during the day to get the shapes of the buildings and the other layer was just past dawn, which picked up the light coming from the buildings. Either way it's cool stuff!!
ingmu_tw June 25th, 2005, 01:52 PM Fantastic! I love Singapore too!
