Old Riga has some 100 medieval goods storage buildings. It is hard to adjust them to the needs of modern times while maintaining all the heritage value. Many still stand and wait for investor...

Eu adoro a arquitetura dessas cidades, é única e bem característica, fora que é mais leve que a de outras partes da Europa... as igrejas são fabulosas também! Eu nunca tinha visto fotos dessa cidade, valeu! ;)
Com essa arquitetura e as mulheres do Leste Europeu, acho que eu toparia encarar o frio e as línguas de lá, hehehe!

Eu sempre fui muito interessado nesses países diferentes da Europa, como as três nações balticas... gostei dessas fotos muito show! :D Riga é a maior cidade das nações balticas.

Tallin e Vilnius são lindas também! eu adoro esses países bálticos! antes de entrar no fórum eu não tinha idéia como elas eram... talvez eu tivesse aquela idéia estereotipada de cidade da antiga União Soviética... cheia de commieblocks e tal... mas não... são muito bonitas! e Riga é a minha cidade favorita dessas três! :D

As repúblicas do Báltico eram dos tesouros mais desconhecidos da Europa até à sua separação da União Soviética. Agora finalmente reganharam a sua identidade cultural, que não tem nada a ver com a Rússia, e estão cada vaz mais desenvolvidas e atraentes. Até já fazem parte da União Europeia!

Eu já tinha visto fotos de Riga, mas com estas aí deu para se ter uma idéia melhor da cidade, que é linda e MUITO charmosa mesmo!! Mas Vilnus e Tallin não ficam atrás não....

Os Países Bálticos são bem legais mesmo (assim como todo o Leste Europeu), mas dos três o meu preferido é a Lituânia, pela sua história. A Lituânia já foi um GRANDE Reino do Leste Europeu, e chegou a ser o maior Estado territorial da Europa no século 14, o que é fascinante!!

São as primeiras fotos "profundas" que vejo de Riga... Me interesso bastante por esses países bálticos, são meio misteriosos, escondidos(como o Leste Europeu) e quando a gente vê essas fotos BELAS parece que nem existem... Tudo muito lindo!!
