looks, brrrr cold. Tho, great pictures of them in the snow...can't imagine how they get traction with steel wheels vs iron tracks. They don't have rubber. I guess those tracks have insulation to keep from snow acculmating on it.

I like that they dont have rubberwheels. The metro/subway here isnt noizy at all. Compared to Paris metro, its really silent :)

Oki, here is some pics of the Frognerseter line 1:

This is the Frognerseter station at the top:

Both 1300 wagons and the new wagons from 1994 T2000 goes here.

Here a nice winter picture of T2000 direction Frognerseteren:
http://pix.*******/19/19586-P1010010.jpg

Here some from 1994. T2000 is one of the most expensive made subway wagons. To much experimental technics made it very expensive. Here is from the first day of traffic.

Actually I'm looking for a photo which gives a clue of the nice view that's supposed to be seen from the metro near Frognerseteren.

See my website: Metros with a View (http://mic-ro.com/metro/metroswithaview.html), Oslo is mentioned but a photo is missing.

Is this photo you've posted also Frognerseteren? Or which place is it? There also seems to be a nice view from there:

Cool website! That picture is from Frongnerseteren-line, with the view towards the city and the fjord. I do not know exactly where on the line, but it must be somewhere near the top.

This photo is not with a metro in it, but I took it near the ending station for Frognerseten-line. I should make one that includes the metro one day
